The Katagum Emirate Council, Thursday, presented to the Bauchi state deputy governor, Mohammed Lawal, a letter for the conferment of Madugun Katagum traditional title earlier announced by His Royal Highness, the Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Umar Farouk ll.
Presenting the letter to the deputy governor in his office at the Government House, Bauchi, the emir, represented by Dandalman Katagum, Mohammed Gabi Ardo, congratulated the deputy governor on the official conferment of the traditional title of Madugun Katagum by the emirate.
He said the emirate appreciated the deputy governor for his selfless service to humanity and urged him to consider his traditional title as an opportunity to work for the overall development of the Emirate and the state in general.
Receiving the letter of his comferment of the traditional title of Madugun Katagum, the deputy governor, Auwal Jatau expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the emir for finding him worthy of the traditional title which is a testament to the trust and confidence the Emirate has in his capabilities.
