Dancing With the Stars is about to begin its highly-anticipated Season 33 on September 17, and with a truly spectacular cast this time around, it’s safe to say that the reality television series will continue making waves.
For the first time in the history of the show, two members of Bachelor Nation will compete for the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy at the same time — Joey Graziadei and Jenn Tran — and to up the stakes, the pair happens to be exes.
With this gig, Joey and Jenn will join Bachelor Nation fan-favorites Nick Viall, Kaitlyn Bristowe, Hannah Brown, and others in the Dancing With The Stars family — and perhaps one of them will even take home the win on behalf of the Bachelor franchise.
Nevertheless, if anyone needs a refresher as to what their Bachelor and Bachelorette journeys entailed, Joey was a contestant on The Bachelorette Season 20, where he pursued Charity Lawson (who doubles as a Dancing With The Stars finalist).
Choosing Dotun Olubeko in the end, Joey finished the season in second place, ultimately causing him to be the next Bachelor.
As the lead of The Bachelor Season 28, Joey met his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, and the two lovebirds are still going strong today.
Although she did not leave with a ring on her finger, Jenn was also a part of The Bachelor Season 28, getting eliminated just shy of the hometown dates.
Because of her untimely elimination, she went on to be the next Bachelorette; however, Jenn’s journey was not anything like the success story of her predecessor …
At the end of The Bachelorette Season 21, Jenn ostensibly found love with Devin Strader — but after he shocked the leading lady (and Bachelor Nation) by calling off their engagement, we can’t help but hope that Jenn’s stint on Dancing With the Stars will be a serious step in her healing process.
Joey Graziadei Promises To Fully Support Former Flame Jenn Tran
Although they have a history, it looks like Joey and Jenn’s relationship is water under the bridge, with the former Bachelor eager to support the former Bachelorette throughout her Dancing With The Stars journey.
“It’s amazing. I’m just going to support Jenn fully,” the 29-year-old told Entertainment Weekly ahead of the show.
“I know a lot of things have come from all this, and I think she’s just really excited for her next opportunity, and I’m going to support her fully,” Joey pledged.
Joey Graziadei Sought Advice From Another Former Fling: Charity Lawson
Forced to interact with his ex, Joey called upon yet another ex before beginning Dancing With The Stars as well, reaching out to Charity for some advice ahead of the beloved competition series.
“I’m close with [Charity and Dotun], and they were able to explain it from both sides, with Dotun being the person coming off of the show and having to deal with everything that comes with it, and then Charity actually going through it,” Joey told Entertainment Weekly.
“They gave [Kelsey and I] a lot of things to come in with, but they mostly were just super supportive and want us to really kind of have our own journey.”
Will either Joey Graziadei or Jenn Tran manage to take home the coveted Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy come finale night?
Tune into Dancing With the Stars season 33 this fall to find out for yourself, beginning September 17 at 8pm ET/PT via ABC and Disney Plus.
With talented contestants like Stephen Nedoroscik also fighting for the win, these Bachelor Nation stars might already have some serious competition.
