A Survivor 47 Castaway Slams A Former Contestant For Having Some Serious Privilege Problems

If there is one thing to know about Survivor newcomer Tiyana Hallums, she is not a fan of Liz Wilcox from Season 46.

Coming from Aiea, Hawaii, 27-year-old Tiyana is set to compete on Season 47 of the reality television series — beginning on Wednesday, September 18) with a two-hour premiere on CBS — and she has already proven a force to be reckoned with from the moment she hits the shores of Fiji.

After all, she is someone who is not afraid to speak her mind …

Discussing all things Survivor in a pre-game interview with long-time reality television reporter Mike Bloom at Parade, the flight attendant had quite a few controversial things to say.

When she was asked about her hottest Survivor take, naturally, she sang like a bird.

Believe it or not, she used this opportunity to thoroughly trash talk former castaways, notably focusing on Liz and her blasphemous behavior surrounding Applebee’s on Survivor 46.

For those who are unfamiliar, Liz is largely remembered for her explosion toward her fellow castaways, which occurred after Q Burdette won a reward challenge — to go to the Survivor sanctuary and feast on Applebee’s favorites — and chose other individuals to join him.

Given the fact that Liz might just be the biggest Applebee’s fan on planet Earth — and the fact that she has allergies which prevented her from eating as much as her tribemates throughout the season — she did not handle the rejection well, screaming at Q and slandering his character in front of her fellow castaways. Yikes!

Tiyana — who seems to have no shortage of hot takes — had a field day with this, criticizing Liz’s privileged problems in her interview.

Given that Survivor 46 was the most recent season of the hit competition show, Tiyana apologized for rehashing it, prior to sharing how she really feels about Liz and her entitled behavior as a viewer-turned-player:

“Liz absolutely pops off at Q because she didn’t get to go to Applebee’s … In my opinion, as an audience member, she had no right. It just screamed entitlement to me.

“Unfortunately, I did not see it as, ‘Oh, she hasn’t eaten in X amount of days. She’s allergic to a lot of things.’ I’m very much someone that, you know what you’re getting into when you come on
Survivor
.

“Obviously, you don’t know what starvation is, but if you’re allergic to everything on that island, you knew you weren’t going to eat for however many days until there was a reward.”

Tiyana then asserted that after trying to vote Q out of the Tribal Council prior to the Applebee’s reward, Liz did not deserve the reward anyway.

Nonetheless, Tiyana then donned her castaway cap, describing what she would do if she found herself in a similar situation on Survivor 47:

“I love ramen. If there’s a ramen challenge, I’m gonna work hard as hell to get it, but if someone doesn’t pick me, that’s the name of the game.

“I’m not gonna pop off at you because I didn’t get my ramen!”

To see whether she stays true to her word, catch Tiyana — as well as 17 other stellar castaways — as they fight for the million-dollar cash prize and the title of “Sole Survivor” this fall, beginning on September 18 with a supersized premiere on CBS.
