RHOBH is back with a new season and Sutton Stracke is here to continue causing drama. Before that, a round-up of some of her more dramatic moments with cast that have since left the show.
The Real Housewives of Beverley Hills are back with an epic season 14 of the show. The cast will be joined by Sutton Stracke a long-time fan favorite since she joined in season 10. There are a number of cast who won’t be returning to the show, many of which have had a big bust-up with Stracke. Fans are perpetuating the rumor that an argument with Sutton can leave your time on the Bravo show cursed.
Sutton Stracke’s frenemies end up leaving the show
A fan post on X shows a picture of Sutton Stracke holding a cocktail glass and looking coy, the post is captioned “let me just look down and giggle”.
The fan has highlighted the point that everyone that Sutton has argued with on RHOBH has since left the show. “Her power.” He added.
Whether this is some voodoo witchery of Sutton adding an argument based cursed to the housewives, or just a smug coincidence, we’ve rounded up all the Sutton-based drama with the housewives in question for you to decide.
Round one: Rinna versus Sutton
Lisa Rinna gave up her diamond just ahead of RHOBH season 13, after running into a number of problems with co-stars during season 12. Introduced to the show in season 5, she has had her fair share of infamous showdowns, as Rinna has never been one to keep her opinions quiet.
During season 12, Rinna and Sutton came to blows when discussing their joint attendance at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Gala in 2019. Sutton claimed she bought Lisa’s table for her, a fact that Lisa fiercely denied.
Unfortunately for Rinna, Sutton had kept the receipts, producing emails proving her claim. Months after they rehashed this event for the Bravo film crew, Rinna announced her departure.
While many of the arguments could be to blame for her leaving, Rinna’s husband Harry Hamlin reportedly was overheard off-screen saying IMDB bought them the tickets, not Sutton, and claimed “She might still be on the show, but the audience believed Sutton.”
Sutton told E! News that “I think we’re all sad that Lisa’s leaving,” demonstrating she, at least, harbors no bad feelings about her co-star.
Round two: Diana versus Sutton
Season 12 continued to bring the drama for Sutton as she got into an ugly argument with Diana. After attending a party following a miscarriage on the show, Sutton tried to pull Diana aside to check in on her.
Diana was not having any of it, telling Sutton no to “do phony s***” with her. This escalated in the most extreme way, with Diana threatening to “headbutt” Sutton as she tried to express her empathy.
The Georgia native told Diana she wasn’t being “nice” before provoking her, saying “Oh, yeah. I want to hear the Bosnian ‘tough girl.’”
“You’re phony. You are the fakest person I’ve ever met in my life, literally,” Diana said to Sutton, while Sutton urged her to not question her empathy. “How dare you question my empathy. That’s all I have, is empathy.”
“You need a new villain?” Diana asked, finishing up the argument between the pair by saying, “Here I am.”
Diana didn’t return to shoot season 13 of the show following her high-risk pregnancy.
Round three: Crystal versus Sutton
In May 2021, Crystal, the first Asian American housewife, and Sutton spoke about the difficulties facing racial stereotypes.
Sutton, from Georgia, jumped in to share her perspective “Do you want to talk about when I see dumbass rednecks on the TV, and that’s supposed to be me? I also have a stereotype, but I don’t want to bring it up!” she said.
Crystal responded: “Are you one of those people that you don’t see color? Tell me you’re not that girl.”
Though the pair made up following this drama, it reignited in season 12 when Crystal said “there was a lot more said prior to [the original feud], that was very dark.”
This ‘dark’ flashback was shown, Sutton told Crystal on a trip to Lake Tahoe, “My white child is with Black girls in there, a Chinese girl was in the Jacuzzi, and I’m like, ‘This is what it should be,’” which Crystal felt was a “problematic” thing to say.
The housewives were divided, and so were the viewers, many suggesting Crystal’s claim was overly dramatic. Some suggested she might have been trying to damage Sutton’s reputation.
Crystal was devastated to not be returning for season 14 after she was reportedly fired for “not delivering” enough content.
Round four: Annemarie versus Sutton
Annemarie was also reportedly fired from the show prior to season 14. She shared her disappointment on social media, highlighting that “fans never got to see the real me.”
Someone who is not disappointed at Annemarie’s departure is Sutton, who told Jeff Lewis: “I really don’t give a s***.” When speaking of her firing.
Sutton at least attempted to be diplomatic by adding, “I hope she had a nice spring break and happy Easter.”
The pair had an online feud after Annemarie tried to call out Garcelle, for playing the “race card” while appearing on a podcast.
“She’s been able to get away with unnecessarily playing the race card so many times unchallenged because who can challenge her, right?”
These comments baffled Sutton who took to X to clap back saying, “The hypocrisy of this woman is starting to wear on me. Great friends then to turn so severely weeks later on a different podcast? Ma’am.”
Round five: Teddi versus Sutton
Teddi Richards was not subtle when she decided to call out Sutton’s eating habits on her podcast, following season 13 nasty of Kyle accusing Sutton of not eating.
Some saw this as the implication of an eating disorder. On the December 7, 2023, episode of her podcast, Teddi spoke about these accusations, agreeing “the truth of the matter is she doesn’t [eat well].”
“And, so, she can be annoyed about it, or she can start to talk about it,” Richards added.
The housewife continued to express how many of the other ladies on the show have been open about their eating disorders. However, “watching somebody in a situation where the majority of your calories are being taken in from vodka and ocean spray is not ideal.”
But she later opened up on her rare esophagus disorder, which means she struggles to eat.
It’s probably also not ‘ideal’ to blast something so private on a podcast if you want them to open up.
Teddi was also fired, in some Sutton-based-voodoo-witchery, following season 10 for her poor performance on the show.
