‘Summer House’ star Lindsay Hubbard’s surprise pregnancy with her new man isn’t phasing her ex, Carl Radke. In fact, he’s already moving on.

Lindsay’s Doctor Warned Her Not To Gain More Weight

“I am hormonal AF. These hormones are raging through my body. And everything activates me. But I did want to clarify some things,” Lindsay said in her Instagram update on August 8. “My doctor [was] telling me that I can’t gain any more weight.”

She continued, “I actually really, really like my doctor. She’s amazing. It has nothing to do with vanity and if you have been pregnant before or are pregnant you might be more understanding of that. Gaining too much weight can increase my blood pressure and obviously, that’s not good, especially during the delivery.”

The reality star added, “And also, it can create gestational diabetes, which we do not want. So it’s important for me to maintain a healthy weight during my pregnancy. It’s all about my health, my baby’s health, etc.”

The reality star, who parted ways with Carl Radke nearly a year ago, is clearly determined to do what’s best for herself and her baby. However, she admitted feeling a bit puzzled by the mixed messages from her medical team.

“At my last scan a couple of weeks ago, they told me that my daughter was on the smaller side and to continue eating, and two weeks later, I go to my OB and she’s like, ‘You need to watch how much you’re gaining,’” Lindsay explained.

“I’ve already gained 40 pounds. But I was very, very thin when I got pregnant so I think I got to a normal weight before all was said and done,” she added.

Lindsay Hubbard is expecting her first baby with boyfriend Turner Kufe, marking a new chapter in their relationship as they prepare to welcome their first child together.

Aside from her health updates, Lindsay also gave fans a peek into her baby preparations, including the nursery setup. She’s been dating Turner since January and has been busy getting everything ready for the little one.

Summer House’s Carl Radke Claims Had Lindsay Hubbard Done This One Thing He Wouldn’t Have Called Off The Wedding

Carl Radke and Lindsay Hubbard had a rough season on “Summer House” that ended in their breakup. But, the way Carl sees it, it didn’t have to.

Addressing concerns about the nursery’s crib location, Lindsay explained, “The reason I’m getting a day bed is because I plan on getting a baby nurse who’s gonna live with me for the first couple of months and they need somewhere to sleep. I live in New York City. The fact that I have a two-bedroom apartment as it is is kind of a big deal so the second bedroom is not massive and I have to work with what I have.”

As she gears up to hit the six-month mark of her pregnancy next week, Lindsay is also preparing for a new chapter with Summer House season nine currently in production. Fans can expect to see more of her life and adventures as the season is set to air later this year or early next year.
