The new season of Selling Sunset brings a new cast member to the Oppenheimer Group, Alanna Whittaker. Model, luxury real estate agent and town owner, here’s what we know about her so far.
August can only mean one thing, we are one month away from the latest installment of hit reality series Selling Sunset. With season 8 set to drop on September 6, 2024, Netflix have been teasing us with a drama-filled trailer. Real-estate, relationship trouble, cowboy hats and fashion appear to all be a part of the new season. Additionally, the familiar faces are going to be joined by a new cast mate Alanna Whittaker. Here is everything we know about her so far.
Selling Sunset’s Alanna Whittaker promises to bring a blend of luxury property and fashion
Regular viewers shouldn’t fret as joining new cast member Alanna Whittaker are several returning Selling Sunset cast members including Brett and Jason Oppenheimer, Emma Hernan, Bre Tiesi, Amanda Smith, Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Mary and Romain Bonnet, and Nicole Young.
As a model, Alanna is no stranger to fashion, promising she is going to blend right in with this trendsetting group. The newest star has a wide range of experience in the modeling industry, working with extensive work in both print and digital modeling. The fashionista is represented by CGM – Caroline Gleason Management and has secured gigs with high-end brands like Tom Ford.
Fashion and luxury property seem to go hand-in-hand, as Whitaker has been working in the market since 2020. Before joining the Oppenheimer Group, she worked at Westside Estate Agency as a real estate agent.
Alanna married husband Adam Gold in intimate ceremony
Alanna is very loved up with husband Adam Gold, who she married in July 2022 in an intimate ceremony in Joshua Tree, California. Gold, who works in hospitality and events, proposed to the 32-year-old in January 2019.
“It’s hard to put into words how special this day was. We are filled with an overwhelming amount of love and gratitude as we step into this next chapter of our lives as husband and wife.” Whittaker shared on Instagram reflecting on their very special day.
‘If I were to buy your town, how much would I have to pay?’
In the new promo, we see Whittaker take her cast mates to her ‘town’. Dressed head-to-toe in Western attire, they visit Cosmic Ranch which is the model’s luxury vacation rental. The 2.5-acre property is set “among the gently sloping mountains,” in Pioneertown – a late nineteenth-century themed town in San Bernardino County, California.
The ‘town’ was originally built for Western movie sets, but now features a ranch-style home complete with yoga room and private hot tub. Luxe.
Whether Alanna’s property is a whole town or not, she definitely wants to show it off to the rest of the crew. “I own a little Western town in the desert,” the star tells the other estate agents in the promo, to which Tiesi replies, “A town?”
“If I were to buy your town, how much would I have to pay?” Jason asked, to which Whittaker didn’t respond.
