My administration has made difference in Edo – Obaseki 

The Edo state governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki,  Monday expressed optimism of a greater Edo because his administration has shown in the last eight years that it is possible to make a difference.

Obaseki who stated this at an event  organised to mark “Edo @ 33”, said his master plan for the state, highlighted the importance of planning for the future.

He stated that the menace of human trafficking and slavery had been successfully addressed by his administration, thereby setting the state on the path of progress.

Also, the Commissioner of Education, Dr. Joan Oviawe, said the new regional development and Benin City master plan would be incorporated into the education curriculum of the state.

The commissioner expressed optimism that the integration of the development plans components would empower students to become active contributors to the realisation of the “New Edo Nation.”

She also said: “the incorporation is imperative to equip students with knowledge, skills and values necessary to drive progress and development.”
