Mexican boxing star Canelo Alvarez is scheduled to return to the boxing ring after a four-month break on September 14. He is set to face the undefeated Puerto Rican boxer Edgar Berlanga. Interestingly, Alvarez, before the fight, has gone viral for something other than his stature or training videos. His unexpected fluency in English has caught fans off-guard.
Alvarez was born in Mexico, where Spanish is the official language. At times the Mexican boxer has showcased his wild rants in front of the public in the Spanish language. However, the NYC presser witnessed the rare visuals of Alvarez going on about in English during the whole press conference. Not only that, following the presser, Canelo also made an appearance at an interview session with BigBoyTV.
The interviewer was eager to hear Alvarez speak English, particularly his curse words. The entire session lasted about 16 minutes. During this time, Canelo continuously used curse words for a whole minute. The Mexican boxer stated everything about his favorite curse words in English. Interestingly, it took no time for that to go viral.
