At the young age of twenty-four, Layi Wasabi has achieved quite a lot in his career as a skit maker.

Known for his on screen character ‘The Law’, Layi Wasabi has stolen the hearts of many Nigerians with his unique, intellectual and funny skits.

Layi Wasabi once revealed what gave him the inspiration to birth the character of ‘The Law’.

He said that he had gone into his grandfather’s closet, and that was when he found old suits and shoes, which he now uses in his skits.

The baggy suits and clearly outdated shoes are part of the props that has made Layi Wasabi stand out, and makes his content funnier.

In respect to his growth as a skit maker, Layi Wasabi won an award of recognition in the just concluded AMVCA that took place earlier this year.

Over time, he has explored his acting skills, starting in movies like Alakaja, and a host of other movies.
