“Speedy recovery,” Stefanos Tsitispas, Coco Gauff and even George Russell have kind messages for Novak Djokovic after a successful surgery

Serbian ace Novak Djokovic has not had any luck for two quarters of the year. With the French Open almost ending, Djokovic is yet to win even one title. Just as the whole tennis world was witnessing a different Djokovic at the French Open, he soon had a major fall.

After three rounds of brilliance, Djokovic was playing his fourth against Francisco Cerundolo, where he fell hard on his knee while trying to return the Argentine’s forehand. Even though he won the match, he suffered major heartbreak after the MRI scans revealed bad news.

Djokovic revealed that he had suffered a meniscus tear in his right knee and was eventually forced to withdraw from the ongoing French Open. However, earlier today, the Serbian posted a picture on Instagram where he was standing on crutches and revealed that his surgery was a success.

A major sigh of relief for the Serb’s fans as they now can expect Djokovic to return as soon as possible, given that the rehabilitation process is going smoothly. Elsewhere, other popular athletes and tennis stars wished the Serbian a speedy recovery.

Hope to see you soon and thanks for sharing your feelings on court with such a transparency.

Following that, even other tennis stars like Stefanos Tsitsipas, Coco Gauff, and Stan Wawrinka also commented their heartfelt wishes. Other than tennis, Mercedes driver George Russell also wished the Serbian a speedy recovery.

Many questions about the longevity of the Big Three as Novak Djokovic falls due to a knee injury

After the retirement of Roger Federer, many fans already speculated about the end of the Big Three. Soon, even Rafael Nadal suffered a major injury, keeping him out of the game for almost two years, and he still pays the repercussions of that.

Only Novak Djokovic remains from the Big Three. He has not had as many injuries as the others until recently when he injured his knee. Luckily, Djokovic even got the surgery done and is on the road to come back as soon as possible. But it does not take away the huge question of the injury being like Federer’s.

Even the Swiss legend had a minor knee injury at the start, which eventually got worse forcing him to retire altogether. While Djokovic’s injury is not the same, one cannot help but wonder how that pans out in the future.
