The Railway Men Ending Explained
When the leaked gas from the Union Carbide factory reached Bhopal junction station, it made hundreds of people sick. At the same time, the Gorakhpur-Bombay Express was on its way to Bhopal with thousands of passengers. It was crucial to inform them about the accident and figure out how to help the suffering passengers at the station.
Iftekaar Siddiqui and Balwant Yadav noticed people getting sick outside their office room from the gas effects. They quickly brought them inside. Imad Riaz, who had been working with a journalist to expose the Union Carbide Corporation’s negligence, also understood the situation.
While Iftekaar and Imad tried to fix the communication line, Balwant stayed to control the panicked crowd. Iftekaar tried to contact Sukhi Sewaniya station to stop the Gorakhpur-Bombay Express, but the communication lines were not working well.
Meanwhile, Rati Pandey believed he couldn’t leave so many people in Bhopal without help. He used his GM special train to head to the city. Iftekaar suggested making a makeshift train with spare mail train carriages for people at the station to board. However, when Imad tried to drive the train, it failed due to an engine malfunction.
