Jury is asking Infowars host to pay parents of Sandy Hook victim Jesse Lewis $4 million

On Thursday, a Texas jury ordered Infowars host Alex Jones to pay Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis $4 million in damages. They are the parents of a 6-year-old girl who died in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School mass shooting in which gunman Adam Lanza killed 28 people. Most of the people who died were children.

Alex Jones is known as a conspiracy theorist for believing several mass shootings were faked by the government. Jones says the people who died were “crisis actors” used to upset people to tighten gun laws. Jones said the government came up with these elaborate hoaxes to make it easier to control the American people.

Alex Jones’ claim that the children killed in the Sandy Hook shooting were just tools of the US government prompted several people to protest.

Parents like Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis have asked for money because they say the Infowars host downplayed their loss and prompted Jones supporters to harass them.

USA Today says Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis are seeking $150 million in damages for the wrong things Jones said about the Sandy Hook school shooting.

Heslin told the judge in court how bad the parental molestation was

“I can’t even begin to describe the last nine and a half years, which have been hell on earth for me and others because of Alex Jones’s recklessness and carelessness.”
On Wednesday it emerged that the process had taken a sharp turn. Jones’ lawyers had accidentally texted and emailed the other side for two years.

From what the lyrics say, Jones made a lot more money off Infowars than he first let on. That was surprising because he had previously said the $150 million his parents were asking would put him out of business.

Jones said in court Wednesday he doesn’t believe Sandy Hook is a fake. But that’s not all. Several parents, survivors, and even an FBI agent have filed lawsuits against Jones, saying he should be punished for spreading so much misinformation and incorrect information.

“We’re not done yet folks. As we tackled this case, we knew that if we wanted people to know we were serious and committed, we had to aim for the stars. He will owe a lot more after tomorrow.”

From 2015 to 2018, Jones made $165 million selling tactical and survival gear on the Infowars website, according to court documents. It is said that at least some of his clients became his clients because he spread conspiracy theories like the one about the Sandy Hook shooting.
