American teenage girl from Utica, New York, Bianca Michelle Devins, also known as Bianca Ahren, was murdered on July 14 by a male acquaintance named Brandon Andrew Clark.

After an unsuccessful suicide attempt, Clark was charged with second-degree murder. He was then sentenced to 25 years in prison for murder after entering a guilty plea.

According to police reports, Devins and Clark allegedly had an intimate relationship, although they had different views about their relationship.

Bianca Devins’ body was never discovered, but a photo of it surfaced on the social media platform Discord on July 14, 2019.

Since it was common for users of the network to share disturbing images to elicit a reaction from others, friends initially thought it was a scam. However, that perspective was changed when Brandon Clark contacted 911.

Bianca was murdered in Utica, New York by a friend. The killer posted pictures of her lifeless body on the internet, where they soon became famous. Unfortunately, the problems worsened when her family members received the photos.

When the police showed up, they arrested Clark and found Bianca’s body covered by a sheet. When police arrived, someone had already texted the horrifying picture to Kim Devins’ family.

Images of her body quickly went viral on social media as the family mourned their lost daughter. Additionally, her family received the images as a result of nasty memes and ongoing online harassment.

Update on Brandon Clark, the killer of Bianca Devins, today

Brandon Clark, who killed Bianca Devins, was serving a 25-year sentence following the crime and remains incarcerated at the time of this writing.

On February 10, 2020, Clark changed his pretrial plea to guilty. His sentencing was originally scheduled for April 7 but was postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On June 2, he filed a notice to withdraw his guilty plea, claiming his attorney failed him. This was rejected as he had admitted his guilt.

His hearing took place on September 30 and a written decision was made on October 30. On March 16, 2021, Clark was sentenced to 25 years in prison. He has openly admitted that he regrets his actions.

Clark pleaded not guilty to second-degree murder on July 29, 2019. After he found a knife made from a sharpened toothbrush in his cell, correctional officers later accused him of encouraging prison smuggling.

It is believed that Brandon Andrew Clark and Bianca Michelle Devins first met on Instagram in April 2019 after Clark started following Devins there.

Devins intended to attend Mohawk Valley Community College in Utica to earn a degree in psychology. However, her bouts of mental illness, which included despair, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder, troubled her loved ones.

Though Devins and Clark got along well, Kimberly Devins, Devin’s mother, thought Clark “wanted more.” Devins explained to her mother why she didn’t want to date Clark.

A friend of Devins’ feared he might have sexually exploited her during this time because he allegedly gave them drugs to hang out with.
