Police respond to reported shooting at soccer field at east-side park

SAN ANTONIO — Police responded to an east-side park on Friday night amid reports of a shooting.

Chopper 5 was over the scene at Comanche Park on Roland Avenue Friday night as multiple police units appeared to gather at a soccer field. The parking lot was crowded with civilian cars, and several police vehicles were on the grass.

The call came in as a shooting around 10 p.m., but police have not confirmed that yet. We are working to learn more information.
