LONG VALLEY, NJ — Summer is rapidly approaching, and with it, summer activities for all Washington Township children.
Between July 10 and Aug. 11, Washington Township Recreation will co-host soccer camps with Kickz Soccer.

The camp runs in three, four-day sessions, with the first kicking off on July 10 with the registration deadline on July 6.
The second-week session starts on July 24, with sign-ups ending on July 20.
The third and final session begins on Aug. 7, with the last day to register for that session on Aug. 3.
The program will take place at Harrington Park’s fields, which are located at Flocktown and Rock Roads in Long Valley, with schedules varying by program.
The soccer camp will be split into two age groups: Kiddy Kickz and World Cup Soccer.
Kiddy Kickz, which is for children aged three to five, is a great way to introduce young children to soccer in a fun camp format. This popular program incorporates soccer-related activities, promotes motor skill development, encourages group interaction and is an excellent form of exercise.
For Kiddy Kickz, residents pay $99 in registration fees, while non-residents must pay $109 in registration fees.
World Cup Soccer, designed for children aged 6 to 15, is an exciting camp that emphasizes fun. Based on a daily theme related to a different country, players will learn to develop skills such as dribbling, passing, and shooting. In fun challenges and games, players will put their skills to the test.
The price per session for World Cup soccer is $169 for residents and $179 for non-residents.
Both camps run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from Thursday to Monday.
This year, the township is offering two specials: the first is a discount of $10 off your total if you register for multiple weeks, and the second is a discount of $20 off your total if you register by June 1.
