Looks like their divorce was red, white & overdue.
Reese Witherspoon looked radiant as she visited her lawyer’s office in Nashville on Friday amid her divorce from Jim Toth.
Witherspoon, 47, appeared to be in good spirits as she visited the office of her lawyer, Marlene Eskind Moses.
She was photographed chatting with two women while sitting parked in her car outside of Gullett Sanford Robinson & Martin PLLC.
The “Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde” star was also spotted flashing a toothy smile as she popped out with mom Betty, 74, and her 50-year-old brother John that same day.
Witherspoon was apparently on her way to grab some lunch with her family members.
The Hello Sunshine founder gave off an Elle Woods aesthetic in a bright pink sweater, white pants and brown high-heeled wedges.
She accessorized the look with cat-eye sunglasses and carried a Valentino crossbody bag.
Witherspoon’s legal excursion comes just days after news broke that she officially filed to divorce Toth, 52, after nearly 12 years of marriage.
The “Morning Show” actress cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their breakup in court documents obtained by TMZ on Saturday.
The filing also states that she and the talent agent both signed a prenuptial agreement in March 2011 that will provide “adequate and sufficient provisions” for their assets and debts.
The estranged couple — who share 10-year-old son Tennesse — must register for parenting classes, a mandate in Davidson County, and they will have 60 days to submit a certificate of completion to the court.
Witherspoon will also reportedly submit her prenup for approval from the judge as well as her permanent parenting plan.
The “Cruel Intentions” alum and Toth announced that they were separating in a joint Instagram statement on March 24, just days before they were due to celebrate their 12-year wedding anniversary.
“We have some personal news to share. It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the exes announced.
The duo added that they “have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”
Toth and Witherspoon — who is also mom to daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe — also shared that they want to prioritize their son as well as the rest of the family while navigating their breakup.
“These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time,” they concluded in the post.
Last week, Page Six exclusively reported that Withrespoon’s marriage to Toth crumbled because it had become a platonic partnership and there was “zero romance” towards the end of it.
“There’s no big scandal or drama, just two people who essentially became co-parents and don’t really have any romantic feelings for each other anymore,” the insider shared.
Another source told us that their breakup was a long time coming.

Days after announcing their separation, Witherspoon signaled that she was ready to move forward when she was spotted without her wedding ring on.
Toth and the “Big Little Lies” star got married in her California home in March 2011 after dating for nearly a year.
Witherspoon took to Instagram to commemorate a decade of being married to her “sweet hubby” back in 2021.
“What a special day with all of our dear friends. Looking back, I can’t believe it has gone so quickly!” she captioned an image from their wedding at the time. “I guess that’s how it goes with 3 kids, Big LOVE, lots of laughing, non- stop travel, so many dogs, and fun adventures… figuring out this crazy world together. Here’s to many more days in the sun! I you, JT.”
Witherspoon was previously married to her first husband Phillippe, 48, from 1999 to 2008.
