Good evening everyone. Thanks guys for coming out. Um, as I outlined in my crime plan and discussed yesterday, we deploy officers strategically based on intelligence data and analysis in children’s findings and partnership. The New Orleans Police Department, Louisiana State Police FBI I Parole and Parole conducted an investigation into stolen vehicles on the 1900 block of Russia Blade Street. This investigation took place on April 3, 2023 during the conduct of this investigation. Officials observed gunmen exit stolen vehicles and enter an apartment within this block, working with our state and federal partners. The area was surrounded, a *** perimeter established and a *** search warrant secured and executed, which subsequently led to the arrest of 11 suspects. The suspects were arrested in connection with illegal possession of firearms, illegal possession of stolen vehicles and illegal possession of narcotics. This investigation found that five stolen vehicles were recovered, 12 firearms were recovered and confiscated, and a large quantity of marijuana and cocaine were also confiscated. Yesterday is an example of the crime-fighting strategies we have implemented in collaboration with our federal and state partners by sharing this intelligence data and working together to solve crimes. Targeting violent criminals and taking firearms off the streets has resulted in 22 guns being seized in the last three days. I want to thank the men and women of the New Orleans Police Department, all of our federal and state partners, the LSP FBI, and parole and probation. That was definitely some fucking collaboration, and that’s the kind of effort we’ve been talking about since day one to make these strategic deployments and really work together, leverage the resources that our federal and state partners have, and to achieve the arrest we need to work to focus on having a group focus on getting the people committing these property crimes off the streets as far as vehicles are concerned and also as many illegal guns as possible off the to get street . I will now answer questions on my left. Certainly, only about the business of the hearings was not answered. Uh we got a friggin’ subpoena and we’re going to comply with the subpoena what’s actually related to this you know um I think stolen vehicles are up 144% you know can we expect more arrests and more things more surgeries like this? III failed to mention that this investigation is still ongoing. So we expect it to bring back even more of those stolen vehicles. So that’s far from complete, and yes, you’ll expect this collaboration to continue until we get that number down overall in terms of stolen vehicles and violent crime. I just want to clarify what you mentioned 22 guns will now be considered with this point and all together play the mission plan together. In the last three days we have actually confiscated 22 weapons. These weapons were actually confiscated in the incident that happened yesterday. But damn, in the last three days since Sunday we’ve actually seized 22 guns. It’s still under investigation. It is, it is unknown at this time, but again, this investigation is not complete, it will be ongoing. So I’m sure we’ll have more information at a *** later date. But right now, these 11 suspects have been arrested for the crimes I just mentioned. You know, if they were just chop chop, um, as far as I know, those cars got, um, out of some of those cars when, um, the officers were, um, in the area running this, um, this Investigation. So, um, one more thing, I’m not, um, I’m not sure if the investigation is ongoing. So, it, it, it will bring up some other things I’m sure. And we will release this information at ***, later date and time. Tell me the guns were found with the cars or they, um, I explained that they broke into the apartment, the warrant was secured and these guns were confiscated from this house. OK. Last question and I don’t have this information in front of me. Um, we’ll probably release that pretty soon. We’re going to put out a fucking press release and we’re going to have all the detailed information on who was arrested and on what, uh, different charges. OK? Thanks guys for coming out. Police responded to the 1900 block of Rocheblave Street on Monday afternoon, according to NOPD Interim Superintendent Michelle Woodfork. Woodfork said a perimeter was set up around a home after armed suspects exited stolen cars and entered the home. The NOPD executed a search warrant against the house and arrested the 11 suspects. Woodfork said five stolen cars, 12 firearms, and marijuana and cocaine were confiscated from the home. NOPD has taken 22 guns off the streets in the past three days, according to Woodfork.

The New Orleans Police Department has arrested 11 people in connection with a drug and gun bust in the Seventh Precinct.
