John Wick 4 is a smashing hit in theatre all around the world. However, the ending of the film has left fans wondering whether a John Wick 5 is possible.

Will there be John Wick 5?
In 2020, Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer confirmed that both John Wick 4 and John Wick 5 are in development.
He said, ‘We’re busy preparing scripts for two installments of our John Wick action franchise. We hope to shoot both John Wick 4 & 5 back to back.’
Furthermore, the plans for a sequel may be delayed since both Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski have told that they what to pursue new projects.
However, the two are open to filming John Wick 5 but will most likely spend their time for a while working non-John Wick-related projects.

Stahelski talked about the potential fifth movie with The Hollywood Reporter.
He said, ‘I think we all need that little bit of time to go, “Whew. Let’s see what’s next.” … If Keanu and I, a few months from now sit down and go, “Yep, we’ll never do another one of those,” and then all of a sudden go, “Yeah, but I got an idea,” we’re open to it.’
Reeves on the other opened up about it during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
He said, ‘I don’t know, I guess I’m going to have to lean on never say never. I wouldn’t do a John Wick film without Chad Stahelski. We’d have to see what that looked like.’
John Wick 5: Potential Release Date
Unfortunately, no release date has been confirmed as of yet for John Wick 5. Additionally, the future of the series continues to be up in the air.
Meanwhile, if the fifth movie does happen, then we will most likely have to wait until 2025 (and possibly beyond). Currently, there are no dates to confirm when the filming of the movie will begin.
John Wick 5: Which of the Cast members will return?
Despite the conclusion of John Wick 4, it is impossible to create a John Wick movie without starring Keanu Reeves in the lead. Hence, he will return.
Moreover, Ian McShane might also return to portray the role of Continental owner Winston. Laurence Fishburne will most likely feature again as the Bowery King too.
Lance Reddick will understandably not return following the untimely death of his character Charon. But there is the possibility that he will b3 included in flashbacks.
