While Daredevil: Born Again is set to feature the return of many beloved characters from the Netflix series such as Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, many fans are disappointed at the actors who didn’t manage to make the jump to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, a new rumor suggests that Matt Murdock’s best friend Foggy Nelson is said to be returning fo the new series, despite reports to the contrary.
This new rumor comes from the account CanWeGetSomeToast on Twitter, who has had a fairly reliable track record in the past when it comes to scoops. According to the account, a member of the crew on set confirmed that Foggy Nelson would be returning for the new Daredevil series. There’s no word on if Elden Henson will be reprising his role if this rumor is true. However, given the posts use GIFs of Henson and didn’t specify that he would be recast, it seems implied he’ll be making his return.
Despite this rumor seeming to confirm Henson’s return, the same can’t be said for a number of other cast mates. According to the same report that confirmed Bernthal’s involvement in the project, Deborah Ann Woll won’t be returning as Karen Page in the series. However, given that report also said Henson wouldn’t return as Foggy, fans may want to treat it with a grain of salt. The role of Vanessa Fisk has also been recast, with actress Sandrine Holt replacing Ayelet Zurer, who played the character in the Netflix series.

Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps. Jon Bernthal, Sandrine Holt, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James and Michael Gaston are set to appear in the series opposite Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio. Matt Corman and Chris Ord are writing and executive producing for Marvel.
