
An upgrade to the bulk water meter that supplies water to the Erasmia and Valhalla Reservoirs will be shutdown for 12 hours.
The shutdown is planned for Thursday.
In a statement Tshwane says Rand Water has informed the metro over an interruption in water supply.
This as it will replace and upgrade the bulk water meter.
This essential work will take place on March 23, from 08h00 until 20h00 said the statement.
The reservoirs in question will be filled to maximum capacity before the shutdown, however, water interruption may be experienced in the following areas:
- Christoburg
- Erasmia (all extensions)
- Erasmia 350-JR
- Glen Lauriston (all extensions)
- Hoekplaats 384-JR
- Lekker Hoekie 411-JR
- Lekker Hoekie 450-JR
- Monrick AH
- Mooiplaats 355-JR
Pretoria Town and Townlands 351-JR
- Sunderland Ridge Ext 25
- Valhalla
- Zwartkop 356-JR
The metro apologises profusely for any inconvenience that may be encountered as a result of the above-mentioned work, it said.
