Penn State Pro Day participants and observers

Penn State football held its 2023 Pro Day on campus Friday, as dozens of NFL coaches and scouts descended upon Happy Valley. In all, 13 former Nittany Lions took part in the event. This is our photo gallery from the afternoon.

Different players took part at different levels. For example, cornerback Joey Porter Jr., who is likely to be the first PSU DB ever taken in the first round of the NFL Draft, allowed his testing numbers from the 2023 Scouting Combine to stand but did go through drills.

But quarterback Sean Clifford, who felt he was snubbed by not being invited to the Combine, tested and worked out. Meanwhile, wide receiver Parker Washington attended but did not work out as he continues to bounce back from an injury that ended his 2022 season.

Besides the draft prospects and NFL personnel, multiple Penn State coaches and current Nittany Lions were on hand, too. So was a certain PSU athletic director who has been in the news of late.
