Martine Vik Magnussen Murder Case Update

Farouk Abdulhak, the son of a billionaire who fled to Yemen shortly after the death of Norwegian student Martine Vik Magnussen in London in 2008, has admitted his involvement in the case to the BBC.

Vik Magnussen’s body was found in a Great Portland Street basement. Abdulhak, on the Metropolitan Police’s most wanted list and subject to an international arrest warrant, has never spoken publicly about the case until now.

CCTV footage showed her leaving the Mayfair nightclub Maddox at 2 am on March 14 with Farouk Abdulhak, who she had previously dated.

The cause of Magnussen’s death was compression to the neck, indicating strangulation.

The coroner’s report stated that her body showed 43 cuts and scrapes, typical of assault-type injuries or those received in a struggle.

He told the BBC that Vik Magnussen died from a “sex accident gone wrong.”

While Abdulhak did not mention Vik Magnussen by name, the coroner’s report confirmed the brutal manner in which she had died.
