APPRECIATE FOR. WE APPRECIATE LEE SOUTHWICK NOW AND THE PREDICTION SHE HAS IN STORE FOR YOU THIS WEEKEND BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE ANY THE COLD FRONT IS GOING THROUGH NOW. YES ABSOLUTELY. SO WE HAVE THIS FRONT PUSHING THROUGH. IT WILL BRING US A LITTLE RAIN OUT THERE BUT IT WILL BE A GOOD WEEKEND I THINK BEHIND THE BACKGROUND. SO YOU CAN SEE THE FRONT NOW GOING THROUGH BRINGING SOME LIGHTSHOW ACTIVITY ACROSS OUR AREA. SO FOR THOSE OF YOU ON THE NORTH COAST, YOU HAVE SAW THESE CONSTANT SHOWERS OF LIGHT ON AND OFF DURING YOUR MORNING HOURS AND NOW INTO THE AFTERNOON. PLACES LIKE FRANKLINTON, YOU SEE IT GET MORE RAIN OUT OUT AROUND KENTWOOD. THERE HEAVY RAIN. SO NORTH TANGIPAHOA PARISH INTO WASHINGTON PARISH AND THEN THIS WILL STREAM FURTHER EAST BACK THROUGH PEARL RIVER COUNTY. JUST SOUTH OF POPLARVILLE THERE MORE RAIN AND YOU WILL EXPECT MORE SHOWERS ON THE SOUTH BANK IN THE HOURS COMING. WE HAVE THAT THE RAIN STILL GOES DOWN. TYPICAL RIDE A LITTLE TOWARD THE ALLEMANDS AND TRYING TO CUT OUT PART OF THE METRO AREA. AND THEN WE SEE THIS POP UP DOWNSTREAM ALSO ALONG THE COASTAL AREAS. IT’S A COLD FRONT. SO THERE IS SLIGHTLY COLDER AND LESS MOISTURE AIR BEHIND. IN PLACES LIKE BOGALUSA AND HAMMOND THEY MAY ALREADY HAVE REACHED THEIR HIGH TEMPERATURE. THEY WERE AT 74 AND BOGALUSA THIS MORNING. NOW IT’S ONLY 71 DEGREES. THERE. PLACES LIKE BELLE CHASE BUT 78, IN GALLIANO IT’S NOW 81 DEGREES. SO ON THE NORTH COAST YOU WILL SEE YOUR TEMPERATURES FALL DOWN SOMETHING AND YOU WILL BE IN THE 60’S LATER THAT AFTERNOON AND SIT THERE TILL EVENING. WHILE YOU’RE IN THE 70 SE DURING THE SOUTH BANK AND YOU FALL DOWN THROUGH THE 70 INTO THE 60’S TONIGHT. OVERNIGHT TODAY. So today overall we have this cold front moving on bringing a 30% chance of rain and highs that really range from the 70’s on the north coast to the 80’s for many of you on the south coast this evening after the fallback BY THE 1760S AND SOME OF THEM ON THE NORTH COAST IN UP TO LATE TONIGHT IT WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SOME SPECIAL SHOWERS IN THE EVENINGS ON THE SOUTH DURFEST DURING THIS FRONT. OVERNIGHT IT WILL BE MOSTLY CLOUDY AND COOLER TODAY. TOMORROW THE DAY STARTS COOLER WITH LOWS OF BETWEEN 52 AND 63 DEGREES. BIG DAY TOMORROW WHEN YOU GO TO THE IRISH CHANNEL. TEMPERATURES WARM UP TO NEAR 80 C FOR YOUR HIGH. SO IT WILL BE WARM BUT IT SHOULD NOT BE THAT HUMID OUTSIDE. BUT WINDS WILL BECOME OUT FROM THE SOUTH LATER IN THE AFTERNOON. I CAN’T EXCLUDE A SINGLE SHOWER AT ONLY 10% ON SUNDAY. WHEN YOU ARE IN METAIRIE IT WILL BE PARTIALLY SUNNY, A LIGHT BREEZE AND TEMPERATURES NEAR 83 DEGREES IN SLIDELL WILL WALK UP TO A FEW SPECIAL SHOWERS AROUND THE START OF THE PARADE AND THEN MORE RAIN WILL COME LATER. WE MUST ALSO BE CAREFUL THAT SOME OF THESE STORMS ARE STRONG. POTENTIALLY HARD. THIS EVENING MORE SHOWERS ARE COMING THROUGH. THIS IS A STRONGER COLD FRONT ON THE WAY. SO WE HAVE A RISK OF HEAVY WEATHER, PRIMALLY FOR THOSE OF YOU ON THE NORTH SHORE AND IN OUR MISSISSIPPI COUNTIES. ALL IN YELLOW, THIS IS A MILD LEVEL TWO RISK. OUR MAIN OFFERINGS WOULD BE DAMAGE WIND GUSTS, LOW HAIL RISK, MAYBE A SHORT TORNADO. BUT THE HIGH IN THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING COLD FRONT, WE COOL DOWN SIGNIFICANTLY. TEMPERATURES ARE ACTUALLY COOLER THAN NORMAL MONDAY AND TUESDAY WITH HIGHS IN THE 60’s.

The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority (RTA) will temporarily suspend service along the St. Charles Streetcar, Magazine, Louisiana and Jackson Esplanade bus routes Saturday due to the Irish Channel’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Beginning at 11:00 am, the St. Charles streetcar line stops running between Napoleon Avenue and Erato Street. Three streetcars will run from Erato Street to Canal Street. The remainder of the streetcars will operate from Napoleon Avenue to Carrollton and Claiborne Avenues. Traditional tram operations will resume once the parade is over. Also from 11:00 there will be service adjustments for the following bus lines: Magazine No. 11 The bus travels towards Children’s Hospital, making a detour at Calliope and going down Tchoupitoulas at Marengo. It will turn and continue down Magazine Street. If you are heading towards Canal Street, the bus will make a detour to Tchoupitoulas on Marengo Street. She turns left on Calliope, then right on Camp and returns to her regular route.#27 LouisianaAs you travel towards the river, the route ends early in Louisiana and Carondelet. There will be no service to Walmart. On the way to Orleans near Navarre, the route begins at Carondelet and Louisiana. #91 Jackson Esplanade On the way to the river, the route ends early at OC Haley and Jackson. There will be no service to Walmart. The route to the cemeteries starts at OC Haley and Jackson. Traditional service along the #11 Magazine, #27 Louisiana, and #91 Jackson-Esplanade bus routes will resume tomorrow once the parade is over. NEW ORLEANS —

- On the way to the children’s hospital, the bus makes a detour in Calliope and descends to Tchoupitoulas near Marengo. It will turn and continue down Magazine Street.
- If you are heading towards Canal Street, the bus will make a detour to Tchoupitoulas on Marengo Street. She turns left onto Calliope, then right onto Camp and returns to her regular route.
#27 Louisiana
- The route ends early in Louisiana and Carondelet on the way to the river. Walmart is not served.
- The journey towards Orleans near Navarre begins at Carondelet and Louisiana.
#91 Jackson Esplanade
- On the way to the river, the route ends early at OC Haley and Jackson. Walmart is not served.
- When traveling to the cemeteries, the route begins at OC Haley and Jackson.
Traditional service along the #11 Magazine, #27 Louisiana, and #91 Jackson-Esplanade bus routes will resume tomorrow once the parade is over.
