NDE flags off 5-day training for business owners in Ogun

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) had begun a 5-day training on Enterprise Finance Counseling Clinic (EFCC) for 25 participants by the Small Scale Enterprise department of the directorate in Ogun state.

The training, according to NDE, is to equip them with business managerial skills and become self-reliance in the competitive market space.

The director general of the NDE, Mallam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, during the flag off stated that the roles of entrepreneurs, SME’s, and micro businesses to the growth, development and building of any economy is very crucial, hence there is need to invest in these businesses, train and empower business owners with relevant skills and other managerial tools necessary to ensure that their businesses not only survives but also thrives.

Represented by the Ogun state Coordinator of the directorate, Alao Babatunde Ismail, the DG reiterated that despite all the potentials of the informal sector operators, the actualisation of their full impact can only become impactful when their businesses are successful.
