BATON ROUGE — LSU basketball forward Kendal Coleman has entered the transfer portal and guard Justice Hill is expected to do the same, according to The Athletic.
Hill averaged 5.6 points and 2.7 assists this season. He started 17 games, but his role diminished over the season as he shot just 32.4% from 2-point range and 29% from 3-point range.
Coleman has averaged just 2.3 points per contest in 21 games this season as his role waned largely due to the emergence of freshman forward Shawn Phillips.
Hill joined LSU after spending two seasons at Murray State under coach Matt McMahon. When McMahon left to coach LSU, Hill followed him.

Beyond Hill’s departure, the Tigers still plan to bring back the rest of their eligible guards next season, including Adam Miller, Justice Williams, Cam Hayes and Trae Hannibal.
Coleman joined LSU from Northwestern State, where he averaged 15.4 points and 10.1 rebounds in his sophomore season with the Demons.
Despite struggling with a 14-19 record in McMahon’s freshman season, LSU has made no additions from the transfer portal.
