Logan Valentini is the younger sister of Karla Homolka, Canada’s infamous lady-killer. She is the middle child of three sisters. Tammy Homolka, one of the Homolka sisters, was murdered in 1990 by her own sister Karla and her ex-husband Paul Bernard.
Logan Valentini Was Born With A Different Name
Logan Valentini, formerly Lori Homolka, is the middle child of Karel and Dorothy Homolka. She was born in a small town in Ontario, Canada, in 1971. Her parents used to have well-paying jobs. Karel Homolka worked as a traveling salesman, and Dorothy was a Czechoslovakian immigrant who worked at a geriatric clinic.
Lori is also her parents’ second child. She grew up in a happy family in St. Catharines with two sisters, Karla and Tammy Homolka. Tammy was the youngest and Karla was the oldest. Lori is also a year younger than Karla and three years older than her late sister Tammy.
She attended the Sir Winston Churchill School, which was close to her home. Karla and Tammy used to study there as well.
Tammy Was Murdered While Her Sister Lori Slept Peacefully
Logan Valentini’s notorious sister noticed him being more drawn toward her younger sister since the beginning of Karla and Paul’s relationship. In addition, her then-partner Paul would make her pretend to be Tammy during intimate moments. Despite this, Karla gave in to all of his wishes and sacrificed her life just a week before her sister’s birthday for the sake of her lover’s happiness.
Tammy’s food was spiked with strong sedatives stolen from her workplace on Christmas Eve by the eldest Homolka sister. She took her baby sister to the basement after she became unconscious and everyone else in the family had fallen asleep. Bernardo was there, ready to rape the young girl. The entire performance was even videotaped by the couple.
Tammy died in a horrible way; she choked on her own vomit and died a few moments later. Karla and Paul called 911 and cleared up all the evidence after unsuccessful attempts to revive her. Unfortunately, the case was initially dismissed as “accidental.”
Aside From Tammy, The “Ken and Barbie Killers” Had Two Other Victims
The twisted lovers, Karla and Paul, were dubbed “Ken and Barbie Killers.” Tammy’s death in 1990 was only the beginning of their nearly two-year killing spree. Leslie Mahaffy, 14, and Kristien French, 15, were abducted, raped, and killed by the couple.
Similarly, another young girl was present. Jane Doe (her real name is unknown) literally escaped the mouth of death after being raped twice by “Ken and Barbie.”
Logan Valentini Changed Her Name Following the Arrest of Her Sister Karla Homolka
Karla was sentenced to 12 years in prison despite being convicted of the rape and murder of three young girls. Why? The prosecution offered her a “plea bargain.” As it turns out, she turned herself in to the police after Bernardo became agitated and abusive.
As a result, “The Witch of Ontario” was given two options: testify against her ex and face a lesser sentence, or face full charges. Karla obviously chose the first option and was imprisoned at Kingston’s Women’s Prison until 2005.
Logan was embarrassed by her older sister’s arrest and wanted to stay off the radar. She didn’t like the negative attention her family was receiving and wanted to avoid it. As a result, she changed her name from “Lori” to “Logan” in 1996. This enabled her to conceal her true identity and lead a normal life.
Logan Valentini and Her Husband Are Happily Married
Logan appears to be living a happy married life despite the difficulties she has faced throughout her life. Logan Valentini, Karla’s sister, has been married to her husband Dominic Valentini (aka Dom Valentini) for quite some time.
Although the couple did not reveal much about their marriage, they are too devoted to one another. Logan and her husband Dom have three children, Lucas, Jenna, and Caden, in addition to their long-term marriage.
Dom, her life partner, even refers to himself on Twitter as the “Dad of Lucas, Jenna, and Caden, and hubby of Logan.”
Where Is Lori Homolka Now?
Lori, as previously stated, now lives a new life under a different name. Logan Valentini is a male model. In fact, she currently lives a normal and happy life with her husband and children in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Her husband frequently posts photos of her children on social media platforms such as Facebook.
