Popular Nollywood actress, Chioma Akpotha has narrated how she was allegedly attacked by thugs at her Polling Unit in Lagos on Saturday.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that taking to her Instastory on Saturday morning, the actress said she had to run for her life, after some political thugs came after her with the intent to stab her with knives.
According to her, the side-mirror and other parts of her car were damaged as she fled.
In a piece of related news, Akpotha’s colleague, Kate Henshaw, accused the Chairperson of Eti-Osa Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State, Rashidat Adu, of ‘riling’ the people against her.
“You should be so ashamed of yourself. I’m calling you out. And this is a note to you. You don’t know anything. This country, this Lagos belongs to everybody. It doesn’t matter if the Local Government is down the road from here.
“You come down here, you rile people. And your people were shouting slogans here in this place.
“Take note. I thought your brain was sharper than that,” a distraught Henshaw said in a video posted on her verified Twitter handle.
