We already knew Ivanka Trump was all the way done with working in the political realm. But as it turns out, she’s also seriously not seeing eye-to-eye with her forever-campaigning father at all.
The 41-year-old daughter of Donald Trump has been spending her time down in south Florida recently. She misses her old life in New York City (more on that in a moment), doesn’t miss her old life in Washington DC, and very much wants to turn the page on her and husband Jared Kushner‘s political experience. But her always-controversial father isn’t making things easy.

On Wednesday afternoon, a source divulged some interesting details about Ivanka’s current life to People. Speaking to the mag about the one-time White House adviser, the insider made it sound like The Donald’s favorite daughter is pretty frustrated with him as he stares down the 2024 presidential campaign and a potentially massive legal indictment:
“Even though Ivanka loves her dad, she knows how impossible he can be.”
Yeah… Don’t we all?
As Ivanka and Jared think about their new life in Miami, the source made it seem as though they are very focused on starting fresh and making the most of a new beginning:
“[Ivanka] is recreating her business life and raising her children which are her priorities. She is through with politics.”
Fair enough!
A second source told the mag there is supposedly “no tension” between Ivanka and Donald. She’s just simply dead-set on not being involved with his future presidential aspirations and all that public service jazz. Which, yeah, that makes sense. The last run was a s**t show! And Ivanka has already very plainly said she’s not doing that again!

Now that Ivanka and Jared are down in SoBe, they are looking lovingly on their beach-side life. But judging by more of that first mole’s comments, it sound like things aren’t as good now as when they were in NYC in those halcyon pre-Presidency days:
“She misses her active social life in New York, but is enjoying Miami and all that it has to offer. She has started over and pursues interests in business, design, and being involved in the lives of her children.”
Hmmm…
Meanwhile, it sounds like Ivanka’s professional relationship with her poppa is strained — to say the least. Specifically regarding Ivanka’s angle right now on the former host of The Apprentice, the insider had this to dish:
“Donald does what he wants, and she can’t help him now. His help is in the hands of his lawyers and advisers. She is no longer working in that capacity.”
Oof.
Another source added even more about how Ivanka has been forced to adjust to her informal exile from NYC:
“She basically wants a new life to compensate for what she lost when she spent four years in her father’s Washington. She misses her active social life and group of friends.”
That quote sounds like if “f**k around, find out” were the aftermath of a failed political campaign.
Just saying! You willingly took the White House adviser gig when your dad was in office, girl. Gotta deal with the fallout now!!
At this point, it seems like Ivanka is content to do the parenthood thing for her and Jared’s three kids — Arabella, 11, Joseph, 9, and Theodore, 7 — while Donald’s 2024 aspirations go on without her.

Meanwhile, her 76-year-old dad can do whatever it is he does over on Truth Social while he dukes it out with Ron DeSantis and Joe Biden.
