Things got intense at the Vanderpump Rules reunion! Big surprise, we know, right? But just wait!
As you most likely know, the cast of the Bravo series sat down to film the highly-anticipated season 10 reunion on Thursday in the wake of Scandoval. Considering this was the first time Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss had to face all of their co-stars since their months-long affair was exposed earlier this month, you can bet the entire group went OFF on the duo.
On Friday, sources close to production told TMZ the taping became explosive within two minutes after the cameras began rolling. And that tension did not ease up for the entire five hours of filming as the cast savagely dragged Sandoval and Raquel for the affair. Of course, no one — not even the 39-year-old’s best friend and business partner Tom Schwartz — sided with the controversial couple. Even Andy Cohen and Lisa Vanderpump blasted Sandoval and Raquel’s actions!

Things got so heated, things almost got physical! An insider told the outlet:
“It was like a nuclear bomb went off in the studio.”
It was so bad that Andy actually had to stop and separate two cast members before they started fighting each other! We guess that’s what the WWHL host meant when he said things got “really confrontational.” While TMZ did not say which star almost got physical during the reunion, the insider shared that the person who started it “is not someone you’d guess.” The outlet noted the instigators were neither the cheaters nor Ariana Madix. We can probably add Scheana Shay to that list, as she still was dealing with a legal issue during the reunion, all thanks to Raquel’s restraining order against her. Yes, that was over an alleged physical attack, but our point is she couldn’t be in the studio with Raquel! (FYI, the former pageant queen is dropping the restraining order now — after the reunion.)
So who could it have been? Lala Kent and James Kennedy seem too obvious of a choice. The source said someone we wouldn’t guess. But perhaps Schwartz and James got into a heated argument at one point. Was Schwartz siding with his pal a little too much at one point? Or did Scheana throw caution to the wind and get into it with Katie Maloney since they’ve been feuding for a while. Unfortunately, we’ll have to wait and see who the culprits were later.
As for what the cast discussed when it came to Scandoval? TMZ reports that Andy asked Sandoval and Raquel about how their romantic relationship started. While they didn’t give an exact time frame, the two reportedly revealed the first time they hooked up it was a one-off — and they didn’t begin a relationship right away. They sure went full-steam ahead with their romance later on though. Hmm…
When pressed on whether they were still together, the pair reportedly made it seem like they were. Innerestingly enough, Raquel said just the day before that they were “taking a break for now.” Was she lying? Or did things change in less than 24 hours?
It certainly could be the latter. A source close to the production said “That relationship is like on an egg timer,” adding:
“It’s not gonna last.”
As for Ariana? She was obviously angry with Sandoval and Raquel, but she kept her cool as much as possible. The source did say she cried at times. A source told the outlet that the way the 37-year-old was speaking made it seem like she went to “some serious therapy.” Meanwhile, Sandoval seemed wrecked by the whole situation to the point where the group needed to take a break. But as we mentioned before, things did not calm down even after the brief pause in filming.
