Shreveport Comic-Con, Geek’d Con, returns to the Shreveport Convention Center. The dates this year are August 18-20, 2023.
Since its inception, Geek’d Con has been one of the first Comic-Con style events in the state of Louisiana. The event has generated millions of dollars in economic impact in the Shreveport and Bossier City area. At the same time, members of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Star Wars icons, members of the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame and horror film legends will be invited.

The Geek’d Con 2023 lineup features a slew of amazing talent. Including a Grammy Award winner and Olympic gold medalist, a member of the NFL Hall of Fame and several Disney icons. Not to mention guests from some of the world’s biggest franchises…like Scooby-Doo, Pokémon and Harry Potter.
These celebrity guests come to downtown Shreveport to meet fans, sign autographs and take photos.
This year’s event will feature the voice of two major Star Wars villains… Sam Witwer!

Witwer voiced Darth Maul in the Star Wars universe in the films The Clone Wars and Rebels. He has also voiced Emperor Palpatine in the Star Wars animated universe.
But his Star Wars resume doesn’t end there. He is also the voice and likeness of Starkiller.
Originally featured in 2008’s The Force Unleashed, Starkiller has gone on to become one of the most beloved modern Star Wars characters.
Witwer also starred in Battlestar Galactica as Crashdown, Smallville as Davis Bloome/Doomsday, Being Human as Aidan Waite, Riverdale as Rupert Chipping, Supergirl as Agent Liberty, and Once Upon a Time as Mr. Hyde.
You’ve also seen him on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Star Trek: Enterprise, The Walking Dead, Dexter, and of course the 2007 movie The Mist, which was filmed right here in the Shreveport area became.

The Geek’d Con returns to Shreveport for another fantastic year. This year the show will take place from August 18th to 20th, 2023. Most guests will perform on Saturday and Sunday, but sometimes a guest will drop by on Friday evening. Some of the guests will only perform for one day.
