However, it is believed that William is concerned that his brother could cause a “stunt” that would overshadow the ceremony and wants every visit from Harry to be highly written.
Sources told the Mail on Sunday that Harry could be given a high-profile sitting position at the Abbey or an informal assurance that he could keep his titles.
A source told the newspaper: “The main issue is whether they attend the coronation, and if so, under what conditions.
“The family is divided and all indications are that Harry is being advised not to agree to anything at this stage and to ‘play long’ until the last minute, which makes negotiations with him very difficult.
Harry’s camp made it clear that the idea of him just attending the coronation and behaving but then being stripped of his titles was a total non-starter. Although at some point he might decide to relinquish his titles of his own accord to get rid of them, he objects to the idea of being forcibly taken from them, he resents being lumped in the public eye with Andrew as the two “problem princes”, when he believes that the circumstances be totally different.”

Mr Welby, who will attend the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, was first asked to act as a go-between between William and Harry shortly after the Queen’s death in September.
