Jason Derulo ‘can’t walk without crutches’ and faces a race against time to be fit for the Super Bowl show after breaking his FOOT during a basketball game
Jason Derulo faces a race against time to be fit for his Super Bowl appearance after breaking his foot playing basketball with friends.
The singer is expected to perform on February 12, when the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles go head-to-head at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
But his live performance was compromised by a torn ligament he suffered during a basketball game three weeks ago, leaving the singer unable to walk without a cane.

Derulo had jumped into the air for a rebound before landing awkwardly on the foot of a rival player, TMZ reports.
The singer reportedly avoided surgery after receiving stem cell injections to speed up his recovery ahead of the Super Bowl show, and is now undergoing daily physical therapy.
Derulo is expected to perform next weekend after being named alongside The Black Keys as a headliner for the NFL’s TikTok Tailgate, which takes place ahead of the game.
While it’s unclear if he’ll be fully fit for the show, the singer is believed to be adamant he’ll take the stage anyway — even if he needs crutches to do it.
