Kelvin Fletcher has vowed to star in ITV1 soap opera Emmerdale as Andy Sugden, much to the delight of fans.
The actor, 39, posted under a social media post shared by the soap’s official account.
The Instagram post shared some teasers of things to come and one photo showed Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) getting aggressive towards Sam Dingle (James Hooton) outside the Woolpack.

Kelvin posted a comment insisting that he would return to Emmerdale if Will did not change his ways.
He wrote, “If he touches Sam like that again, I’ll be back to sort it out.”
Fans quickly saw the post and wrote, “Wish you would pal. Needs you back as Andy in Emmerdale, to shake things up a bit! Come on writers you know!’
“Well, how we’d like you to return to the Dales.”
“Ooo yes come back Andy.”

Kelvin left Emmerdale in 2016 after 20 years racing as Andy to become a rally driver. The father of four children is now a farmer.
He’s grown up for the nation after being cast in 1996 as troubled foster kid Andy.

One of his first major storylines involved setting fire to a barn during an insurance scam to save Emmerdale Farm from financial ruin, unaware that his adoptive mother Sarah was inside, who subsequently died in the blaze.
Andy married Katie as a teenager, but their marriage failed after she had an affair with his adoptive brother Robert.
In his anger, Andy tries to shoot Robert, but he hits his father Jack instead.
The split between Andy and Roberts continues to haunt them years later, when the former remarries Katie in December 2014.

Andy is now the father of Sarah and Jack Jnr with Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) after a very complicated on/off relationship.
