Earlier on Monday, January 23, 2023, the All Progressive Congress, APC, campaign train was in Bauchi. As the presidential and governorship elections draw nearer, Air Marshal Sadique Baba Abubakar, rtd, CFR has obviously won the hearts of the Bauchi state electorate as the ancient city was agog for the mega rally, which was described as the master of all rallies in the present democratic dispensation.
A massive crowd of cheering supporters mobbed President Muhammadu Buhari, the APC presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, and the governorship candidate, Air Marshal Abubakar, in the Pearl of Tourism. Sadique Abubakar, however, vowed to change the narrative of the abysmal failure of the ruling PDP in the state, if elected.
People flooded the streets, with Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium and its surrounding area filled in the Bauchi state capital, with admiration that liberation had come.
President Buhari told his supporters across the 20 local government areas to come out en masse and cast their votes for Tinubu and Abubakar. He testified that the two gentlemen have a pedigree of excellence, modesty, and integrity.
No doubt, the incoming governor of Bauchi state, Sadique Abubakar, possesses the requisite capacity, integrity, empathy, sagacity, and passion to make a positive impact.
Besides, his positive attitude, administrative acumen, and zeal for selfless service to humanity are attested by all. Again, his sense of justice, fairness, and equality for everyone endear him to many.
Indeed, it was his sincerity of purpose that led him to triumph in all his dealings. Of course, Sadique Abubakar is a shining star par excellence and a bright example for the future of the unborn generation. His passion for educating the youth cannot be over-emphasised.
On his part, the governorship candidate expressed satisfaction for the genuine love demonstrated to APC. He applauded the people despite their tight schedules for coming out en masse for solidarity, and showed a deep commitment to the progress and stability of the party. Abubakar vowed to bring out the best in him when given the mandate for the progress of Bauchi state.
