Happy Elements stars!! The franchise will be getting an anime adaptation in April, titled Ensemble Stars!! Choose Tsuiko “Element”. The production team announced via Twitter that the upcoming TV anime will be officially shown Band stars!! YouTube channel On April 6, there is also a special pre-show event that will be held on April 2 at the Tokyo Garden Theater, where the voice actors of the anime will be in attendance.
Along with the release date and preview event, Happy Elements also revealed the main cast, staff, and visuals for Ensemble Stars!! Tsuiko Selection Element previews the first season, which is scheduled to premiere on April 6. Osamu Yamasaki, known for his work on Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles, is directing the anime, with Shinichi Inotsume of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure writing the script. Akira is attached to the original story, while Kengi Kawai, who previously worked on the Ghost in the Shell anime, is involved as composer. Band stars!! The Tsuiko Selection Element anime is animated by DandeLion Studio.
The anime’s voice cast includes members of the group Past Fine and Five Eccentrics, which will consist of Toshiki Masuda as Rei Sakuma, Takuya Eguchi as Wataru Hibiki, Koutarou Nishiyama as Kanata Shinkai, Hiroki Takahashi as Shu Itsuki, and Kenji. Nojuma as Natsumi Sakasaki. Anime fans may remember Toshiki Mashoda from the final season of Attack on Titan as Porco Galliard. On the other hand, Takuya Eguchi previously held episodic roles in Danganronpa 3, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, Haikyu, SpyxFamily, Tokyo Revengers, and Sword Art Online.
The Beautiful Past cast includes Kaito Ishikawa as Tsumugi Ohba, Hikaru Midorikawa as Ichi Tenshwin, Junichi Suwabe as Ran Nagisa, and Natsuki Hanai as Hiyori Tomoe. Kaito Ishikawa previously appeared in Black Clover as Langris Vaude and Bungo Stray Dogs as Rokuzo Taguchi. However, he is best known for his role as Tobio Kageyama in the Haikyu TV anime. On the other hand, Hikaru Midorikawa made a name for himself as Lin in Cowboy Bebop, Kibune Makato in Bleach, and Best Jeanist in My Hero Academia.
Band stars!! The Tsuiko Selection anime is based on the Element story during the Reminiscence: Gathering of the Three Magicians event from the original game, which was first released in Japan in 2015. It was then launched as a mobile app for IOS and Android in the UK, US, Canada and Australia again in June 2022.
