An 18-wheeler jackknifed on Katy Highway near Houston Street and Taylor Street in the Heights area causing traffic delays

Houston, Texas (KTRK) – A jackknifed 18-wheeler backs up traffic on the Katy Freeway Sunday morning.

The crash was reported at approximately 8:25 a.m. on I-10 westbound at Houston Street and Taylor Street.

Houston Transstar Cameras showed the large rig blocking the left, right shoulder and middle lanes.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible.
