Police shot someone on the West Side on Saturday night.
According to Tom Ahern, a Chicago police spokesman, the shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in block 600 of North Central Park Avenue.
Ahern did not say what prompted the police to shoot the person, who was taken to a hospital in unknown condition and also arrested along with four other people.
Ahern said two weapons have been seized and the Civilian Office of Police Accountability (COPA) is also on the scene.
