The scathing comment by British judge Len Goodman was part of the establishment Dancing with the stars Right from the start, but he wouldn’t be on the dance competition show for too long. Goodman made a surprising announcement during the final episode, revealing that he’s retiring as a judge after the conclusion of his inaugural season on Disney+.
immediately after that Dancing with the stars Host Tyra Banks closed out the first round of Len Goodman’s semi-finalist with a message. At first, this seemed like a typical cut to the judges explaining the stakes or challenges of the upcoming round to competitors, but instead, it morphed into Goodman announcing that he will be leaving the series after next week’s 31st season finale:
Well, while we are all excited and very much looking forward to the finale next week, it will also be with a touch of sadness because this will be my final season judging Dancing With The Stars. I’ve been with the show since it started in 2005, and it’s been a pleasure to be a part of such a great show. But I decided to spend more time with my grandchildren and family in Britain. I can’t thank you enough, Dancing with the Star Family. It was an amazing experience for me. I am very much looking forward to next weekend. I am sure it will be absolutely amazing.
To say that it will be a challenge to Dancing with the stars Replacing Len Goodman on a permanent basis is an understatement. Goodman has always served as one of the most important judges on panel, and as stated, has been one of the most important elements of the series since the beginning. He was only absent a few seasons leading up to that, so it’s hard to imagine him not being on the table at all moving forward.
Goodman’s exit will leave Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba as the show’s only remaining founding referees. Derek Hough joined the cast in Season 29 and immediately made a positive impact on fans.
