DES MOINES, Iowa (UKTN) — The Powerball jackpot was estimated to top $825 million in Saturday night’s drawing, but it was not immediately known whether there was a winner.
The winning numbers announced at 11pm on Saturday were: 19, 31, 40, 46, 57, 23.
The estimated $825 million jackpot is the second largest in Powerball history. Strong ticket sales pushed the estimate up to $800 million on Friday, according to Powerball.
If there is no winner, the next draw could yield an even bigger prize.
It’s been almost three months since someone hit all six numbers and won the lottery game’s top prize, thanks to Powerball’s long one in 292.2 million chance.
The biggest prize in US history was a $1.586 billion Powerball jackpot won by three ticket holders in 2016.
Powerball is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
