2023 presidential aspirant, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has revealed why Nigeria needs him to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
The All Progressive Congress, APC National Leader spoke on Wednesday during a one-day parley between current Speakers and Deputy Speakers of the APC-led States, Naija News understands.
Speaking at the event with the theme ‘The Legislature, Changing times and Nigeria’s Democratic Journey’, which was hosted by Lagos Speaker Mudashiru Obasa, Tinubu said the country is in dire need of a courageous leader to effect drastic changes that will bring revenue and build the nation.
The former Governor of Lagos State boasts of himself as that man Nigeria needs to take charge of the wheel of progress.
“Nigeria needs me even as I need Nigeria. Nigeria needs drastic courageous changes that will bring revenue and I am that courageous one it needs.
“I was raised to be courageous and this has been working for me. I want to bring the same to bear as president of Nigeria.
“Accelerated development of our nation is about thinking and doing, and I am ready to do that again because I am a thinker and doer,” the Nation quoted the politician as saying.
Meanwhile, the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Tuesday said Yemi Osinbajo never informed the party leadership before moving his membership to his home state.
Recall vice president, Yemi Osinbajo dumped the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for his home state.
The Vice President spokesman, Laolu Akande made the confirmation, announcing that Osinbajo moved his membership to Ogun State when he revalidated his APC membership status in Ward One, Ikenne, Ogun State on 9th February 2021.
